Where It All Began
It all started with a single trending TikTok video. Joseph "Sesep" Miranda saw the Australian Red Claw Crayfish and recognized a real opportunity: an emerging industry in the Philippines with very limited genetics and few trusted sources. Rather than wait for someone else, he set out to build it from the ground up. That decision laid the foundation for the Taguro Line, the genetic line that would help shape Red Claw Crayfish farming in the country.

The Farm That Sparked the Nationwide Crayfish Craze
This is when Sesep's Farm became a household name. Its videos of impressively large Red Claw Crayfish spread quickly across TikTok and went viral nationwide, helping spark a growing crayfish craze across the country. Sesep's Farm proudly named these standouts the Taguro Line, recognized for their remarkable size, fast growth, and consistent quality. National television, newspapers, and major digital platforms soon followed, and through it all, Sesep's Farm introduced Red Claw Crayfish farming to millions of Filipinos and established Joseph "Sesep" Miranda as a leading face of Red Claw Crayfish farming in the country.

Learning From the World's Best
To raise its standards even higher, Sesep's Farm traveled abroad to train directly with leading Red Claw Crayfish producers in Indonesia and Australia. It studied their proven hatchery, breeding, and grow-out techniques, then carefully adapted them to Philippine conditions. This is how the Taguro Line was refined into a genetic line built for strong growth, better survival, and reliable performance.
Empowering Farmers Through Education
Sesep's Farm chose to share what it learned rather than keep it to itself. It turned its expertise into a mission, running seminars, hands-on trainings, and educational programs that helped launch a new generation of Filipino crayfish farmers. Joseph "Sesep" Miranda became a trusted resource speaker for BFAR and aquaculture institutions, establishing Sesep's Farm as a go-to authority for Red Claw Crayfish farming in the country.

This research gives the Taguro Line a solid scientific foundation that supports its quality and performance.
A Name the Industry Trusts
As the industry it helped build continued to grow, Sesep's Farm became a trusted partner of BFAR, universities, and organizations across the country. From consultations to research initiatives to helping shape best practices for Philippine crayfish farming, it became a name the industry consistently turns to.
