Overview

About this product

Taguro Line juveniles past the critical nursery phase, ready for direct stocking. Raised under strict biosecurity protocols.
01
Genetics

Genetics set the ceiling

Growth rate, survival, and breeding quality all trace back to the stock you start with. The Taguro Line is bred generation after generation for a stronger, more consistent foundation.

02
Nutrition

Nutrition drives results

Steady, appropriate feeding supports healthy molting and growth. The right feed, offered consistently and without waste, is one of the biggest levers you control day to day.

03
Biosecurity

Clean water protects it all

Most setbacks trace back to water quality and biosecurity. Stable, well-managed conditions keep stress and disease low, so your investment can actually perform.

Care & best use

Keeping Red Claw healthy

A few practices go a long way in keeping crayfish healthy and productive. Use these as a starting checklist.

01

Keep water clean & stable

Red Claw are hardy but dislike sudden swings. Maintain clean, well-oxygenated freshwater in a consistently warm range, and avoid sharp changes in temperature.

02

Feed consistently, never overfeed

Offer a balanced diet in amounts they can finish. Uneaten feed fouls the water quickly and creates more problems than it solves.

03

Give space & shelter

Provide hides and enough room. Crayfish are territorial and most vulnerable while molting, so shelter reduces aggression and loss.

04

Acclimate new stock slowly

Introduce new arrivals gradually so they can adjust to your water parameters before being fully stocked.

These are general starting points, not strict rules. Always adapt to your local water, climate, and goals. Not sure where to begin? Our team is happy to guide you.
